Let's Cook

  1. Step 1.

    Panfry the Polish sausage on a flattop or in a large skillet over medium heat, turning occasionally, until heated through and browned on all sides, about 8 minutes.

  2. Step 2.

    While the sausage cooks, place finely chopped white onions on the flattop or in the skillet alongside the sausage. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the onions are soft and translucent, about 8 minutes.

  3. Step 3.

    Place the cooked Polish sausage in a classic bun.

  4. Step 4.

    Top the sausage with a smear of yellow mustard and a generous pile of the cooked onions.

  5. Step 5.

    Add a few sport peppers on top, if desired.
