Yogi Tea Original Recipe by Yogi Bhajan
A spiced tea blend with cloves, cardamom, peppercorns, cinnamon, and ginger, sweetened with honey and finished with milk.

- 20 whole cloves
- 20 whole green cardamom pods
- 20 whole black peppercorns
- 5 stick cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp Black Tea
- 1/2 cup cold Milk
- honey

Step 1.
Bring 3 quarts of water to a boil in a large pot.

Step 2.
Add 20 whole cloves, 20 whole green cardamom pods, 20 whole black peppercorns, and 5 sticks of cinnamon to the boiling water. Continue boiling for 15–20 minutes.

After 15–20 minutes, add ¼ teaspoon of black tea (any kind) to the pot. Boil for 2 minutes.

After 2 minutes, add ½ cup of cold milk per cup of liquid in the pot. Bring the tea back to a full boil, then remove from heat immediately.

Serve the tea hot. Alternatively, let it cool and store in the refrigerator. To serve chilled tea, add milk (if not already added) and bring to a full boil, then remove from heat immediately. Sweeten with honey to taste if desired.
