Moms Jerky
Homemade beef jerky made with a savory marinade of onion, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, and spices. The beef strips are marinated overnight then dried in a dehydrator until chewy.

- 0.25 onion
- 29.6 ml Worcestchire sauce
- 14.8 ml liquid smoke
- 29.6 ml soy sauce
- 14.8 ml salt
- 3.7 ml garlic powder
- 59.1 ml catsup
- 59.1 ml water
- 907 g beef round steak cut into thin strips

Prepare
- 907 g beef round steak, cut into thin strips

Step 1.
Put everything in a blender or food processor.

Blend until smooth.

Cover every piece of meat with the mixture.

Let stand in fridge for at least one day.

Arrange the meat strips on the tray of a dehydrator and dry at your dehydrator's highest setting until done to your liking, at least 6 hours.

Store in an airtight container or resealable bags.
Tips & variations

Place meat in the freezer for 30 minutes before cutting. Slightly frozen meat will be easier to cut into thin, consistent slices.
