Prepare

  • Rinse 237 ml long-grain white rice

Let's Cook

    Rinse the rice thoroughly to remove excess starch.

  2. Step 2.

    In a medium saucepan, heat oil or butter over medium heat. Add the rinsed rice and sauté for 2-3 minutes until lightly toasted.

    Stir in turmeric, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and chicken bouillon. Stir continuously for about 1 minute until fragrant.

    Pour in water or chicken broth. Bring to a rapid boil.
